Meet the Coach who started it all..
Coach David Short
Coach Short played 4 years of Varsity Baseball at Rogers High School. He went on to play at Owens Community College until he signed with the Atlanta Braves.
After a short time with the Braves, Coach Short decided to come back to Toledo and coach. He coached several travel teams, St. John’s, Delta, Southview and most recently, Central Catholic.
His love for baseball is apparent every time he is around the game. Coach Shorts main focus is developing players on and off the field. His development starts during the off season where he spends most of his time perfecting pitching skills. He also offers individual, group and team lessons.

Coach Al Davis
If you are from the baseball world in Toledo, you most likely know Coach Davis, he has coached in Toledo for over 20 years. In 2001 at Rogers High School, Al coached Coach Short and Buck.
Al's love for baseball is apparent every time he is around the game.
Coach Davis offers individual, group, and team lessons.
Whether pitching, hitting, or general baseball skills, Coach Davis can help you take your game to the next level.
